Senior Clinical Data Manager, Cmed Clinical Services
On completing my University degree I headed straight into a job at Cmed as a Clinical Data Associate II. Still in ‘university mode’ I was pleased to find the existing Cmed employees welcoming and friendly, creating a great working environment. With no previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Cmed set up various helpful training sessions to guide my development, aided by a designated mentor. I am an adventurous person who enjoys a challenge and there have always been many opportunities open to me from attending conferences and client meetings to organizing the Annual Party! Over the last 3 years my strive to progress and achieve has been highly supported by my line management team, enabling me to receive not only a promotion to Clinical Data Manager, but recently to Senior Clinical Data Manager also. With more experiences on offer such as travelling abroad to the Romanian and US offices, coupled with the many friends I have here, my day to day work is both interesting and exciting, making Cmed the company I wish to help me progress my career in data management.

Working in Clinical Data Management at Cmed provides challenges every day. The projects and teams are varied and always interesting. No two days are ever the same. My role in Cmed requires me to work with several internal teams as well as external client teams. It is a blend that relies on my knowledge of process, and internal and external customers’ needs. I am supported by a very experienced upper management team who are focused on our collective success while building my own skills. Overall Cmed has something to offer everyone from entry level through to seasoned professional. Working here is challenging, exciting and comes with individual ownership and responsibility. If you make the most of it, you will learn a great deal as you grow professionally.

When I joined Cmed almost four years ago, I was unaware that I was joining a company that offers so many great opportunities. I quickly realized that I had become a part of a focused and tenacious group of people. Cmed's unique industry-driven mindset allowed me a great deal of career progression in a short amount of time. I have been encouraged to focus my goals and hone my skills so that I can best contribute to my department as well as customers both internal and external. I look forward to coming to work each morning. This is mainly due to the fact that Cmed is an incredibly rewarding place to work. Cmed is a group of companies that include a technology division dedicated to developing proprietary breakthrough software. I have the uncommon privilege to program within this software as well as demonstrate to and train external users. I look forward to Cmed's continued growth and subsequent contribution to the pharmaceutical industry.

Over the last two years, I’ve accepted a host of responsibilities and find myself flourishing.
